Our Mission
- Our mission is to improve the aging experience through the use of choir programs. These programs promote a sense of community, group identity and personal achievement.
Our History
Our Mission
- The Song for Seniors community choir has been performing since 2007 and has entertained thousands of seniors in the comfort and safety of their own senior-living home.
- Our first facility-based senior choir was launched in 2016 Our goal is to increase the number of facility-based choirs to bring the benefits of music to an ever-increasing number of singing seniors.
Our Programs
Our Programs
Music For Memories is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports two programs:
- The Song for Seniors community choir, This group travels to senior living facilities and provides free performances on a bi-monthly basis.
- Facility-based senior choirs. These choirs are comprised of residents within a senior living community. Choirs are comprised of individuals from independent, assisted living and memory care areas.

- Purchase music and song licenses.
- Purchase supplies and special materials to accommodate the special needs of senior choir members.
